Van service on Öland
Vans are working vehicles — they cover long distances, carry heavy loads, and rarely get a rest. We service everything from tradesman vans to minibuses at our workshop in Löttorp, and we adjust intervals to how you drive. When the van stands still you lose money, so we try to book you in quickly.
Service
We run the service to the manufacturer's schedule — oil, filters, brakes, fluids, spark or glow plugs. The inspection takes half a day and the service book is stamped. All makes.
Vans cover high mileage — often 40,000 km a year — and carry heavier loads than a car. We tighten the interval, usually every 25,000 km or annually, so that oil and brakes don't fall behind.

Diagnostics and repair — engine, brakes, clutch, exhaust, electronics. We run diagnostics with Autoexperten equipment and call you with a quote before we start the work.
Sliding doors, latches and rear-door hinges wear out from daily use and salted winter roads. The clutch also goes sooner under heavy loads. Tell us early and we finish in a day rather than three.

AC service — leak check, refrigerant top-up and inspection of compressor and drier. Takes an hour unless there's a leak. We handle both R134a and R1234yf.
Van drivers often sit in the cab for eight hours a day and open the door constantly — the AC works harder than in a car. Leaks are common on 7–10 year old vans, often in the front condenser.

Tyre changes, balancing, wheel alignment and tyre storage. We sell tyres in several grades and help you pick the right load and speed rating for your van.
Van tyres need the correct load index — a C-rated tyre isn't negotiable if you run heavy. The wrong rating causes sidewall cracks and can fail inspection. We check and recommend the right one.

Check the tyre load index
A "C" after the size means the tyre is made for vans. Car tyres can't take the load and may crack in the sidewall — we always recommend the correct rating.

Shorten service intervals
If you do over 30,000 km a year, halve the manufacturer's interval. The oil won't cope otherwise, especially on diesels with a particulate filter.

Grease the sliding door rail
Twice a year goes a long way — silicone spray on the rail, vaseline on the roller. Extends life by years and takes two minutes.

Rust-proof after winter
Vans often live outdoors year-round. A rust-proofing treatment in May, after the salt is washed off, doubles the chassis lifespan.
