Tractor service on Öland
We service tractors and farm machinery — we've been doing it for over 20 years. A tractor standing still in April or September costs money, so we try to book you in before the season. All makes, from Massey Ferguson and John Deere to Valmet and Zetor.
Service
Service on tractors — engine, filters, brakes, hydraulics, PTO, cooling system. We run to the manufacturer's schedule or by operating hours, whichever comes first. Half a day to a full day depending on size.
A tractor's work is concentrated into a few weeks in spring and autumn — the rest of the year it mostly stands still. Service in winter and the machine is ready for sowing in April. Miss the interval and the hydraulics pay the price.

Diagnostics and repair — engine, drivetrain, hydraulics, PTO, electrics. Autoexperten equipment for modern tractors, experience for the older ones that don't yet talk to computers.
Hydraulic leaks and PTO faults are the most common — they break mid-job and cost a day in the field. Bring it in as soon as you notice something, and we'll often fix it on the spot the same week. During harvest you get priority.

AC service in the tractor cab — leak check, refrigerant top-up and inspection of compressor and condenser. One hour for a standard top-up.
Running a combine in August sun without AC is tough — and dust clogs the condenser faster than on a car. Blow out the condenser between seasons and let us top up the refrigerant every two years.

Tyre changes and repairs on tractor tyres — both front and rear wheels. We have equipment for large wheels and can patch punctures on-site in most cases.
Tractor tyres are expensive and tough, but stumps and rim damage can split the sidewall mid-harvest. If you puncture in the field, call us — we'll come out if we can, otherwise drive straight in.

Farm and commercial machinery — combines, ploughs, balers, loaders. We service and repair both the machine itself and the connection between tractor and implement.
Most faults show up when the machine comes out of winter storage. Run the implement a week in advance and test it — if you find a fault then, we have time to fix it. Find it during harvest and it's too late.

- schedule
Hydraulic oil before the season
Change the hydraulic oil before spring work — the old oil has gathered condensation over winter and breaks down seals. An oil change is cheap, a hydraulic pump is not.
- lightbulb
Blow out the condenser
The AC condenser on the front of the tractor clogs with chaff and dust. Blow it out with compressed air once a season — the AC lasts twice as long.

Book service in January
Call in December or January for a booking in February or March. The workshop is quiet then, and we have time to go through the machine properly before sowing.
- savings
Grease the joints
Weekly greasing of front and rear hitch points costs one tube of grease a month and saves bearings worth thousands. Don't forget the PTO cross joints.
