SUV service on Öland
An SUV is heavier, sits higher and often runs four-wheel drive — all of which affects service, tyres and brakes. We handle all makes, from small crossovers to large luxury models, and our lifts take the height.
Service
Service to the manufacturer's schedule — oil, filters, brakes, fluids and spark plugs. On 4WD models we also check the transfer case, prop shaft bearings and differential oils. Stamped service book, all makes.
An SUV often weighs 300-500 kg more than a comparable saloon. Brakes and suspension wear sooner, and the differential oil in 4WD systems must be changed at the manufacturer's interval — miss it and the transfer case starts whining.

Fault-finding and repair of engine, gearbox, transfer case, electronics and brakes. We read diagnostics on all common makes, ring with a quote, and book you back in with parts on hand.
4WD SUVs have more mechanics that can go wrong — transfer case clutches, electronic diff locks, air suspension on larger models. Odd noises under the car are more often the diff than the engine. Don't wait out the season.

AC service including cleaning, new drier filter, leak detection and refrigerant refill. A modern AC station delivers the exact amount and we measure cooling capacity afterwards so you know it works.
An SUV has a large cabin and often a panoramic roof — the sun heats it up fast and the AC works hard in summer. Service every four years, otherwise the system loses capacity and the compressor fails within a few summers.

Tyre change, balancing and storage — summer, winter, studded and friction. We stock larger SUV sizes or bring them in within 1-2 days. We fit runflat systems and TPMS sensors without extra fuss.
SUV tyres are expensive — a set costs twice as much as on a regular car. Rotate them every other season and check pressures monthly, and they'll last 30,000 km instead of 20,000.

Change transfer case oil
On 4WD cars the differential and transfer case oils are easy to forget. The manufacturer usually specifies 60,000-80,000 km — miss it and expensive bearing damage follows.

Rotate tyres each season
Expensive SUV tyres wear unevenly — more at the front, more on the right on Swedish roads. Rotation at the seasonal change is free with us and extends life considerably.

Service AC every four years
A big cabin and panoramic roof work the AC hard. Don't wait until it stops cooling — by then the compressor has already been damaged.

Check air suspension in time
If the car settles overnight or sits crooked — come by. A small air leak is cheap to fix; a broken compressor costs many times more.
